Features of the ABX Micros 60 are 8 or 16 parameters including 3 part differential and histograms, sampling on closed tube or open tube, a throughput of 60 samples per hour, automatic probe wipe, single button operator interface, sample usage of just 10µL of whole blood per cycle, Usage of the MINIPACK combining waste and reagents, automatic calibration, smart cards based memory storage for QC and calibration, sample identification capability, Programmable flag sensitivity,programmable high and low limits for patients, uses liquid membrane values eliminating the need for the operator to change tubing in the unit.
